Gumbi Gumbi also known as:-  Pittosporum Angustifolium, Pittosporum Phylliraeoides, Gumby Gumby, Cambia Cumbi, Native Apricot, Weeping Pittosporum, Meemeei, Cattle Bush, Bitter Bush, Butter Bush and Berrigan. These are exactly the same bush.

The properties of gumbi gumbi are wide and varied. The leaves have been used for perhaps thousands of years by our indigenous peoples to support good health especially coughs and colds, eczema and to help with breast milk letdown. . Recent scientific research into the benefits of Gumbi Gumbi find it to boast an array of benefits including, being an anti-pruritic, anti-viral, detoxifier, blood pressure regulator and immune system booster.
